Examination Lights

Delta Medical International have introduced a range of examination lights for use in different clinical situations.  The products are produced by Provita from Germany and are consequently of the highest quality in terms of both design and manufacture.

The focus is on the latest high intensity LED technology, which gives optimum brightness, long life and do not generate unwanted heat.  With a selection of mounting options, the Delta Medical range is easily adapted to different incubator brands to give a fully integrated solution.

The examination lights come in a range of designs, including fully flexible “gooseneck” arm or spring-balanced double articulated arm, making them easy to position and direct the light exactly where it is needed.  Mobile lights on a compact wheelbase, with either fixed or adjustable height, give the flexibility to move them to different locations as required and position them easily alongside other equipment.

The optional touch-free operation makes the products even easier to use and is particularly useful when sterile procedures are being performed. Models are available with fixed, high intensity light output or user adjustable illumination level.

A range of mounting accessories allow the examination lights to be fixed to walls, poles, bars or rails as required, catering for a wide variety of different clinical situations.

Commenting on the introduction of the range Delta Medial International’s Managing Director, Nick Bettles, said: “The Provita examination light range gives us the quality, in the broadest sense, that we demand as part of our business philosophy. Perhaps more surprising is that the prices are more than competitive with less well engineered products and allow us to deliver cost savings to the NHS without any compromise in performance. We are confident that users will find these lights in a class of their own and ideally suited to UK clinical practice.”
