Annual Midlands and East Perinatal Conference

Delta Medical International are pleased to be attending the 11th Annual Midlands and East Perinatal Conference, which will be held at the Grand Station, Wolverhampton, on 26th January 2018.

The conference has a broad programme, with presentations from Consultant Neonatologists, senior neonatal nursing and midwifery staff and NHS mangers.

Delta Medical will exhibit their full neonatal care range; this includes the company’s growing portfolio of developmental care products, such as positioning aids, the Tortle head positioning system to prevent plagiocephaly & IVH and TurtleTub for swaddle bathing.

The new Delta Medical RM15 apnoea monitor will be on show.  This is already in great demand due to its compatibility with the operation and performance of the market-leading Graseby MR10, which is no longer available.

Samples of the JollyPop pacifiers, used to encourage non-nutritive sucking will be available for those wishing to identify an alternative to GumDrop®.  The pacifiers are attracting considerable interest due to their advanced design, further stimulated by the production shortage of the GumDrop range being experienced in the NHS.

Delta Medical’s transcutaneous jaundice meter will also be on display.  Despite its high performance and advantages compared to other bilirubinometers, it comes at a price that is very significantly less than competing products.  This is already appealing to departments experiencing budget pressures.

Other products, such as sucrose solution for pain relief, offer a real opportunity for neonatal and maternity units to save cost without compromising quality.

GumDrop® is a registered trademark of Natus Medical Inc.
